Hi Chris
Thanks for posting that lesson, I was able to figure it out in an instant and I will definitely keep this song in mind to show beginners.
I am going to work on doing it in twelve keys and adding substitutions.
Keep up the good work!
Chris
Wow man! GOOD JOB CHRIS!
I like to teach it to beginners to show them how to do it in a punk rock style… classical style…(alberti bass)
jazz with walking bass lines…
and blues style…
Its really versatile and not too tricky to work up different versions!

I Like your blog and will come back soon.
What a great idea you have. An e-book on Ode to Joy. Modern technology mixed with a Beethoven classic. Thanks.
Very interesting e-book about piano lessons that I have never seen. Thanks for letting us know about this. Beethoven is one of my favorite piano composers. He is a challenging composer to teach on the piano. Keep up the good work guys!
