Hello, Chris,
I saw today on youtube your fantastic jazzy version of Jingle Bells, and I would love to try and play it. I'm an intermediate-level player, with experience in reading notes; would it be possible that you please send me the sheetmusic of this excellence piece so I can play it to my wife and kids?
If there is a price, I'm ok with covering it.
Regards,
Roberto

You are absolutely right that learning piano is hard. I think most people quit because they have unrealistic expectations. I will show this video to anyone who is losing motivation. With hard work, anything is possible. A truly inspiring video.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank for posting that amazing video. It's always encouraging to see someone overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. It gives hope for the rest of us who may have less to overcome.

Coincidentally, I transcribe clinic notes for a hand surgery clinic. And I always ask myself, "What would I do if thus and such happened to my hands?" Because not only do I earn my livelihood with my hands, I play piano, which gives me great pleasure and is so therapeutic.

I'm at the intermediate level, getting ready to cross into advanced. I have a wonderful teacher. I dropped out of lessons for awhile and just returned this past winter. I don't know anyone else to whom I'd go for lessons who would be just as good or better.

My teacher remarks on my ability to pick up jazz rhythms. My immediate goal is to learn more about playing jazz and the blues on piano. But longterm, I want to play many different genres competently enough to do so in public.
