   I so liked your Michael Buble song. I have leart the intro but any chance of a walk through slowed down version of the verse..? The over the shoulder camera is great. Can you do another short video..?

   Where do I get instructions on how to get your Chords 101 Fast Piano Lessons? I want to know if I can learn it? Watching you on you tube takes too long. It stops all the time. I am not an expert on how to use the computer.

   I want to know whether I can learn to play piano by ear or make it up by reading your lessons.

   I really like what you’ve shown so far on the everything song by michael buble. I would really like to learn the rest of the song though with that same camera angle. If it’s at all possible. Its helped a lot.

   Hi Chris,
   I have signed up for your site and i think it is very helpful. I am 24 and used to play the piano in high school and excelled at it. Unfortunatly throughout the years much due to lack of practice I have forgotten how to play this beautiful instrument. I thank you for taking time out of your life to help though of us who really want to learn but cant really afford private lessons. I have watched your 101 lessons and found them extremly helpful. Though I do have one request, I am getting married in a little over 4 months, I love the song “Everything” Michael Buble as does my wife. I would love to be able to play this song for her at our wedding. If you are feeling better anytime and would be able to help me either by providing more on the video you already have or if you could email me the notes i would be most appreciative. If not I completely understand also, Thank you again for the site you provide and hope you are feeling better.

   First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on the wedding! I think that would be a great song to play

   I really recommend watching the video a lot to pick up the missing parts.
   Its a slow processes, but learning is a slow process whether you learn the notes or from video.
   The benefit of transcribing from a video or recording is I think you’re more likely to try an memorize the piano part
   and then you actually have added something new into your vocabulary.

   I went through the same process to learn “Everything” but I had to learn it from the recording.
   First I listened to bass notes a bunch of times and wrote down the bass note that they played on beat 1 of every measure.
   (That is usually the chord) I probably had to rewind just the first 30 seconds of the song a million times,
   but that practice is SO valuable for training your ear and developing vocabulary.

   Try that with the video, watch my left hand first to pick up the chords, then post some questions on where you get stuck!

   I’m taking a break from lessons at the moment, until I get a little healthier.
   That is something I could do though
   In the meantime, grab the sheet music to learn the chords and then listen to the bass lines
   and ask lots of questions!

   hiii… well i am new at this and i don’t really know how to work this page but i just got i keyboard and i am am so excited. there are 2 songs that im completely obsess with and i don’t know how to play them..

   one of them is the theme song for the movie “The Cider House Rules”
   and the other one is “Bellas lullaby” from the movie twilight..

   i was wondering if there was any way you could make a video playing this songs with the 2 keyboards that appear on the screen.. they are really great songs..

   Keep practicing, if people tell you you’re gifted at piano, they probably mean you have a lot of potential! With a little bit of practice to polish all that talent you’ll be playing piano rap songs in no time!

    

   The only rap songs I play on piano are “Fresh Prince”-Will Smith “99 problems”-Jay-Z “Gin & Juice”-Dre “Hey Ya”-Outkast

   They would be fun to do a video for! I’ll get to work on it when I have some time

    I’m not sure what you mean?

    I don’t mix chords like C and F together…
    It won’t sound good to mix chords… unless things are getting really advanced.

    I would suggest playing the same chord in both hands… or learning which notes go with only one chord.

    I am learning to play piano from a fake book..I can play the melodies, and I have memoriized most of the chords already.(minor, major, 6th . 7th, aug, dim, 9.11 &13) .It’s easy enough to play the whole chord and hold it, , or roll it, or break it down to 1/4, 1/8 notes ,but many of the songs specify to play with a “swing beat”, or bossa nova” or latin,,, or I can’t find any instuction anywhere on how to play the various rhythms with the left hand while playing the melody with the right.Most of your lessons seem to focus on playing the rhythm with both hands to accompany a singer..Can you make some lessns on how to play the various rhythms with just the left hand?..not for specific songs, but some general patterns that could be applied to many songs of each genre?’Thanks
